Pancit mami or fresh pancit (pancit miki) mami is a version of a soupy pancit recipe. The soup is tasty because of the chicken stock or beef stock depending on your preference 🙂
Pancit canton guisado or any kind of pancit is one of my most favorite dishes. I can actually eat pancit everyday without getting tired of it provided that there is a variation of flavor.
A Filipino birthday celebration is not complete without a pancit bihon guisado as “handa” or one of the menu. It has become a tradition that when celebrating birthdays or even anniversaries, pancit bihon should be present in the menu list because of the belief that pancit is associated with long life (pampahaba ng buhay).
